Meet Jourdan.

Jourdan (Jourdy) Pridgen is a multifaceted artist and designer who earned her BFA in Graphic Design with a minor in The Foundations of Urban Education from Rutgers University–Newark. 

Born and raised in New Jersey, she carries with her strong communication and interpersonal skills that inform her collaborative practices. She finds inspiration through artist talks, and a level of curiosity that drives her to ask questions and seek deeper understanding. Guided by love, faith in Christ, and a commitment to empowering the next generation of young creatives, Jourdy’s work explores themes of health, wellness, and the inner workings of the mind. Her expertise in computer science and mental health awareness is experienced as well, in her practice as a graphic designer, collagist and interior designer. 

Jourdy’s chosen medium, graphic design, reflects her passion for crafting intentional, and purposeful designs that communicate meaning beyond just style. She is certain that her innovative outlook on creation will continue to drive her pursuit towards purposeful, human-centered design.
